Kiely, Benedict – writer

On 26th September 2019, a plaque commemorating the writer Benedict Kiely was unveiled at his home at 119 Morehampton Road, Dublin 4.

Ben Kiely was born in Omagh, County Down, but lived for many years in Donnybrook.

A writer of short stories and a novelist, he was also a well known broadcaster.
